Catholic Charismatic Renewal elects new Executive

The Catholic Charismatic Renewal of the Zaria Diocese has elected new executive to pilot the affairs of the group for the next three years.

The election took place at the diocesan secretariat of the charismatic located at the Sacred Heart parish Wusasa, Zaria.

The following were elected: Mr. Adams Dauda, a parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Peace parish, ABU emerged the new diocesan chairman; Kingsley Aliwe – Vice Chairman; David Okwon – Secretary; Regina Toroma – Assistant Secretary; Jude Chata – Financial Secretary; Mary Elems – Treasurer and Philemon Nwani – Public Relations Officer (PRO).

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Adams Dauda thanked the members for the confidence reposed in him. He sought for their cooperation to enable the new executive succeed in the task ahead. Mr. Dauda hoped that the new EXCO would work to achieve the aims and objectives of the charismatic group.

The election was witnessed by the diocesan chaplain, Rev. Fr Isaac Agu and past executive led by Mr. Matthew Ogbobe.
